The Race Epidemic is about another outbreak caused by Covid-19 – An epidemic of racism against Asian Americans. With a politicized pandemic sweeping through the country and a president calling it the Chinese Virus, the rise of attacks and hate against Asian Americans is not surprising.

Our mission
Asian American Leadership in Film is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working to educate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community about the importance of media representation by making films that educate and promote cultural understanding. Our organization takes action by organizing film screenings of films about Asian American history and Asian Americans' contribution to this country. We aim to work towards building bridges to bring people together. Racism is a problem that affects us all and we must act together to put an end to it.
